Also provides strength when used in conjunction with stitching.
Aestetical value
Tubular rivets are used when a flat surface is needed inside the bag, or between leather and lining, or fold over sections.  The outside (visible) part is capped, whilst the inside part is tube-like and flat
 
PLEASE NOTE:
Under normal conditions the brass made products should be rust-proof. However, if brass made products are applied to, or come in contact with leathers or fabrics which have acid chemical compositions, they tend to rust.  Please kindly check the leathers and fabrics.  If they have acid chemical compositions, please consider to add anti-acid lacquer on the brass made products.
