Use:
Cut straight edges or slits for credit cards 
Use a strop to sharpen blades
Punch a small hole on either side of the slit, for a neat credit card holder
 
Tip: 
Always hammer onto a Poly or Wooden Board when using your tools, never hammer onto a hard i.e. steel | granite surface, it will damage blades. This is relevant for all leather tools - they are made to last you a lifetime.
